Hey guys! I’m back with another campaign and it’s just in time for this chilly weather. When the season changes and the air is cooler I always crave comfort food. Anything that’s warm and hearty usually does the trick. Bonus points if its got some heat! If you’re anything like me you are in luck because I’ve got the perfect recipe for you. It’s my Spicy Steak Bites & Gravy served over Creamy Polenta. If you’ve never had polenta you are definitely missing out my friend. Today we will change that with this recipe 🙂

It allows me to be more edgy and fun with the dishes I make and my family definitely enjoys it. Texas Pete® is also perfect when you order takeout or delivery. You can always add Texas Pete® Original Hot Sauce to spice things up!

This is a pretty simple recipe I just have a few notes for you below.

Steak: I used two thin cut ribeyes but you could totally use whatever steak you like. Sirloin or even strip steak would both be great choices.

Gravy: I used beef stock for my gravy but you could substitute that with chicken stock or even vegetable stock if you prefer.

Red Chilies: I purchased a few spicy red chilies from my local produce department. I recommend adding to the gravy and also as a garnish. If you have trouble finding them you could use jalapeño or chipotle pepper.

Polenta: When adding the polenta to boiling water make sure to add it slowly and stir the entire time to prevent lumps. You will need to stir the polenta a lot to keep it smooth. It will take about 30 minutes to completely cook it.
