I’m so excited to share this recipe in honor of National Peach Cobbler Day. It’s my Peach Cobbler Soft Pretzel. If you love Auntie Anne’s then you’ll definitely love these. They are everything you love about peach cobbler but in pretzel form. Check out the full recipe details below!
Ingredients
Peaches
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 2 tbsp Rosamae Peach Cobbler Seasoning
- 1 tsp Vanilla
Streusel
- 1/4 cup Flour
- 1.5 tbsp Melted Butter
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 3 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
- Pinch Salt
Additional Ingredients
- 16 oz Pizza Dough (1 ball)
- Flour
- 4.5 cups Water
- 1/4 cup Baking Soda
- Dash of Cinnamon
- 1 cup Confectioners Sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- In a saucepan add diced peaches, butter, vanilla flavoring, and spices.
- Make your streusel topping by adding flour, melted butter, cinnamon, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt into a bowl. Mix until well combined and crumb-like texture forms. Set aside.
- Separate dough balls into 4 even balls. Add flour to your surface and begin rolling out the dough into a thin rope. Twist dough into a pretzel shape. Repeat with the remaining dough until you have four pretzels.
- Prep your pretzel bath by adding water and baking soda to a large pot. Bring the water mixture to a boil and cook the pretzel for 20-30 seconds. Remove from water and set aside.
- While uncooked pretzels are still warm add streusel topping and diced peaches. Spoon leftover peach syrup on the pretzels.
- Place in the oven for 12-15 minutes. I cook mine for 12 minutes.
- While pretzels are in the oven make the glaze by adding confectioners sugar, 1-2 tbsp of water, and a dash of cinnamon. Stir until glaze-like texture forms.
- Once pretzels are done remove them from the oven and allow pretzels to cool for 3-5 minutes before adding the glaze to the pretzels with a piping bag or spoon.
