Strawberry Jalapeño Margarita

Jump to recipe

Good morning and welcome back to my blog! It’s Taco Tuesday and you can’t have a taco without a really good margarita! This recipe yields 4 cocktails and can easily be doubled if you need more servings. The recipe can be as mild or spicy as you like. I love a good amount of spice in my spicy margarita and this recipe is perfect for customization.

This cocktail recipe is perfect for summer and definitely compares to the spicy margaritas that I’ve had in various restaurants around the city. If you haven’t tried a spicy margarita or are still on the fence you need to try this recipe now! I’m telling you its the best drink you’ll have all week.

Couple of Notes:

Ingredients: You will need 2 oz of the Strawberry Jalapeño mix per cocktail.

Spice: I used a whole small jalapeño and the spice was perfect! I also made sure to leave the seeds in. If you only have a large pepper I would use half with the seeds.

Garnish: You’ll want to slice your strawberries and jalapeño for garnish. Make sure to layer the garnish throughout the glass by adding ice, then garnish, then ice, then garish, etc. until glass is full.

Pulp: After straining the blended mixture I like to add about a tablespoon of pulp back into the cocktail mix for a little texture.

Storage: I place my mix in a sealed bottle and store in the refrigerator for 1-2 days.

Ok enough yapping, lets get to the recipe 🙂
