Hey Gang! You guys are getting a 2 drinks in 1 day because I’m doing a holiday cocktails and live music stream this Tuesday at 7pm EST. I will be making 3 cocktails and my husband Vonn will be spinning the tunes. We are pretty excited about it plus its my first live EVER!
I’m bringing you guys 3 festive cocktails and this one is pretty festive. As with all of my recipes its super easy to make. So let’s get started!
Ingredients
- 4 oz Tequila
- 2 oz Lime Juice
- Splash or 1 oz of Ginger Beer
- 3 oz Cranberry Juice
- 16 Fresh Cranberries
- (Fingertip Sized) Fresh Ginger Root
- 1/2-1 oz Agave or Simple Syrup Used to Muddle Fresh Ginger + Cranberries
Garnish:
- Candied Ginger
- Sugared Extra Cranberry
- Salt or Sugar
Instructions
- In a shaker add cranberries, fresh ginger, and agave or simple syrup. Use a muddler to muddle everything until its somewhat liquified.
- Add tequila, lime juice, ginger simple syrup or ginger beer, and cranberry juice.
- Add ice and shake for about 15-30 seconds. The shaker should become ice cold.
- Grab your glass and rim with lime and salt.
- Add crushed ice to glass and pour margarita over ice.
- Garnish with candied ginger and sugared cranberries.
