If you’re anything like me you’ve been drinking a little more than usual during this quarantine. I’ve been running through basic cocktail recipes and adding small things to make them slightly different. One of my favorite basic drinks would have to be the mojito. The Mint always makes it so refreshing. Check out this recipe for my Blueberry Mojito below…best part is you can use any fruit you want!

Blueberry Mojito
Notes
You can adjust the sweetness to your liking. I usually go for the full ounce of simple syrup.
Fresh or frozen blueberries should work fine (I say 5-6 but feel free to use as many as you like).
You can use any berry you want!
If you like a stronger drink you can add an extra 1/2 ounce of rum to the recipe.
Ingredients
- .5-1 oz Simple Syrup
- 5-6 Blueberries
- 2 oz White Rum
- 1 oz Lime Juice
- Top w/Club Soda
- 3-4 Mint Leaves
- Ice
- Garnish w/ Mint
Instructions
- In a shaker add blueberries, mint, and simple syrup.
- Muddle ingredients until berries burst and mint becomes fragrant.
- Add rum, lime juice, and ice to the shaker. Shake for 10-15 seconds.
- Fill a glass halfway with ice, dump the entire contents of the shaker.
- Add more ice and whole blueberries to the glass and top with club soda.
- Enjoy!
