The first recipe is my Saltine Toffee Peppermint Chocolate…..Now this recipe does take a lot of time to set but there is very minimal prep involved. If you make it the night before or early in the day it will definitely be ready by the time your party begins.
First line the saltines ( I used unsalted) on a baking sheet; this takes about 40 saltines.
img_1610
Next you want to melt a cup of butter in a saucepan and add 3/4 sugar to the butter. Allow the mixture to cook until it becomes thicker and bubbly.
img_1613
img_1611
Remove the mixture from the heat and cover the saltines until completely covered. I used a rubber spatula to distribute the mixture evenly. Next bake at 350 degrees fahrenheit for 10 minutes.
img_1614
Remove from oven immediately and add the chocolate chips to the surface. The heat will allow the chocolate to melt; smear the chocolate clllllllll over the saltines until completely covered. Add broken candy canes to the top and allow the saltine toffee to sit out for an hour before transferring to the refrigerator for 4 hours.

This recipe is nothing but absolute sugar heaven……don’t make it for yourself its addictive and you will probably eat it all 😉
Now onto the next recipe! This toasted ravioli is best served with a marinara dipping sauce and hot out of the oven! Your guest will love them…..trust me!
First you want to toast you bread crumbs before you get started. I just added them to a baking pan and placed them under the broiler until they turned golden brown.
img_1602
Next create a breading station that consists of flour, egg, and the breadcrumbs.
img_1597
I like to add seasoning to my breadcrumbs for extra flavor; I used garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and dried parsley. I also add shredded parmesan cheese.
img_1598
Add salt & peper to an egg and whisk well. You can also add salt & pepper to the flour.
Next dip each ravioli in the flour, then egg, and lastly the breadcrumb mixture until all of the ravioli is breaded.

Bake at 425 degrees fahrenheit for a total of 15 minutes. 10 minutes on one side and 5 minutes on the other side.

Remove from oven and serve immediately!
