Breakfast is obviously one of the most important meals of the day. So with that being said why not make it a delicious one. My Blackberry Mango Smoothie is sure to please; it’s definitely one of the best ways to start you morning. Not sure if I’m the only one but I actually find smoothies to be pretty filling; whenever I want to stay fuller longer I just add protein powder to bulk it up.

I think when you really start monitoring your eating habits and start paying attention to what you are actually putting into your body you definitely start to crave healthier foods and reach for that apple or banana instead of the bag of chips. I’m changing my eating and excursive habits little by little and things have been going great since December. Smoothies are also perfect for gym days when you’re not quite sure what to eat. I like to drink a smoothie right before the gym because I don’t want something super heavy but I also want something that will give me enough fuel for my workout. I usually add protein powder or chia seeds whenever I want to bulk it up. If you haven’t tried it I recommend you do! You’d be surprised at just how filling a smoothie with a little added protein can make you feel full and satisfied. - Juice of half an orange
- 1 Mango chopped
- 1 Cup blackberries
- 1 cup Ice
- 1 Tbsp Honey
- 1/4 cup Almond Milk
- Add Ice to blender.
- Add mango and blackberries to blender.
- Squeeze Orange into blender.
- Add Almond milk and honey to blender.
- Blend until smooth.
