Hello everyone! I hope you guys are having a great day so far and are excelling in the New Year! Our first week of posts for our slim & trim series went really well and this week is no different! You guys are definitely in for a treat. Today is hump day and I think everyone deserves a cocktail; but not just any cocktail…it has to be something that makes you forget it’s actually somewhat good for you. The flavor has to be there so that means no skipping on taste.
I would like to present to you my Blackberry Pear Vodka Spritzer! It’s super light and delicious; I guarantee you will enjoy it. The great think about this recipe is you can swap out the fruit for whatever you want. Strawberries, peach, and even mango…..its totally up to you and your preference. I love recipes that can be easily substituted for different ingredients. I think it makes cooking and drink making so much more fun and creative. - 1 Pear for Garnish (sliced)
- ¼ cup Blackberries Muddled
- Splash of Club Soda
- 1 oz Vodka
- 1 tsp Agave
- 1. Muddle blackberries in serving glass.
- 2. Slice pear and set aside.
- 3. Add agave to muddled blackberries.
- 4. Add ice and fill 3/4 of the way.
- 5. Add vodka.
- 6. Top with club soda until full.
- 7. Add pear slice for garnish and to stir drink.
- 8. Enjoy!
