Hello everyone Happy Hour Wednesday’s are here! And to kick things off I’m sharing my Fruity White Wine Sangria recipe. During the winter I kept thinking of cocktail ideas for the blog and I thought a fresh fruit summer cocktail series would be fun but even better maybe a happy hour series because everyone loves happy hour. After a long day at work nothing is better than taking a seat at your favorite restaurant or bar and indulging in a delicious drink.

I absolutely love sangria’s and trust me when I tell you that this is the only sangria recipe you will ever need! Its fruity and delicious, I chose a dry white wine because I knew the peach nectar, simple syrup, and fruit would provide just the right amount of sweetness. I love the idea of adding a simple syrup to the sangria; it allows you to make the drink as sweet or dry as you want. I used about a half a cup of simple syrup to my sangria and was very happy with the taste.  You can make simple syrup by adding a 1/2 cup of sugar and a 1/2 cup of water to a pot. Allow the mixture to create to a boil and simmer until sugar is completely dissolved. Super easy! This Fresh Fruit Peach Sangria is such a refreshing drink and I think its the perfect fit for any occasion. Strawberry & Peach Sangria

Unwind from the day with this sweet and fruity white wine sangria

Serves 5-6
Ingredients:
1 cup Peach Nectar
1 Bottle of Dry White Wine
1 cup Sliced Nectarines or Peaches
2 cup Sliced strawberries
1/2-1 cup Vodka
1 Orange sliced thin in rounds                                                                                                                          1/2 cup Simple Syrup                                                                                                                                              1 cup Pineapple Chunks                                                                                                                                     Top with club soda

Instructions:

1. Slice fruit into thin slices and add to pitcher.
2. Pour wine, peach nectar, simple syrup, and vodka into pitcher and stir until well combined.
3. Top with club soda and refrigerate overnight or for a minimum of 2 hours.                                        4. Serve over ice; add fruit to glass for garnish.
5. Enjoy.
