Hello everyone Happy Hour Wednesday’s are here! And to kick things off I’m sharing my Fruity White Wine Sangria recipe. During the winter I kept thinking of cocktail ideas for the blog and I thought a fresh fruit summer cocktail series would be fun but even better maybe a happy hour series because everyone loves happy hour. After a long day at work nothing is better than taking a seat at your favorite restaurant or bar and indulging in a delicious drink.
I absolutely love sangria’s and trust me when I tell you that this is the only sangria recipe you will ever need! Its fruity and delicious, I chose a dry white wine because I knew the peach nectar, simple syrup, and fruit would provide just the right amount of sweetness. I love the idea of adding a simple syrup to the sangria; it allows you to make the drink as sweet or dry as you want. I used about a half a cup of simple syrup to my sangria and was very happy with the taste. You can make simple syrup by adding a 1/2 cup of sugar and a 1/2 cup of water to a pot. Allow the mixture to create to a boil and simmer until sugar is completely dissolved. Super easy!
